Nova Large Portable Lamp | Black Base - Cream Shade

A sculptural portable lamp defined by a smooth ceramic body and crowned by a wide, panelled ceramic shade. This combination is the most graphic of the range a gloss black base in sharp relief against a warm cream shade, the contrast clean and absolute. Organic form and strong materiality create a confident, assured presence, the gentle flare of the base meeting a wide, shallow shade whose geometric panel segments give the lamp its character and quiet confidence.

The cream shade casts a soft, enveloping glow, its warmth diffusing gently at the edges and drawing out the depth of the black base beneath. The glaze on both pieces reads glossy and resolved the black body catching light at its curves with a lacquer-like intensity while the ivory shade above holds a quieter, more diffuse sheen.
